The hay net is made of 5 mm thick knotless fabric
The fabric from which the net is made is resistant to weather conditions such as water and UV radiation, but it is recommended to dry it after rains to extend its service life.
To increase animal safety, hay nets placed in paddocks should be positioned to minimize their contact with the ground. Hay nets provide constant access to feed, extend eating time, increase saliva production, which balances the pH in the stomach and reduces the risk of ulcers and colic, which can be fatal. These nets can be installed both in the stall and on the pasture, where they help keep forage fresh and reduce the amount of wasted hay. They are also ideal when transporting horses with a trailer.
Hay net:
- It slows down the rate at which the horse eats hay, which is beneficial for its health and keeps it busy for longer.
- Suspended in the box, it enables safe feeding of hay, including soaked hay.
- It is an excellent solution for transport because hay is always available for the animal.
- Helps keep the stable tidy, reducing the amount of wasted hay.
The hay net is made of 5 mm thick yarn, the thickest available on the market, which guarantees its durability. We sew "double" pillows from two layers of yarn: 4 mm and 3 mm. The mesh is knotless, which makes it safe for the horse's teeth. We offer nets with meshes of 2,5 cm, 4 cm and 8 cm, with the 4 cm mesh being optimal for most horses - it minimizes hay wastage while providing the appropriate amount of roughage.
It is important that hay nets are properly maintained and used as recommended to ensure their long life and the safety of horses. Choosing the right hay net is crucial to the health and well-being of horses, which is why we offer a wide range to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
Each hay net is made to order. We try to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, but during the season the waiting time may be longer. be 10-14 business days.
